A Leadership Development Program for Our Community
Leadership Pike is an innovative program designed to prepare emerging leaders from diverse backgrounds for an active role in community affairs. The program objective is to develop an awareness and a rationale for involvement in current issues, opportunities and problems affecting Pike County. Through face-to-face discussions with present community leaders and experts from organizations and institutions that help form the structure in our community, the specially selected individuals will develop an in-depth understanding of the interrelationship and complexities of our community. These learning experiences will accelerate the process of building a resource of community leaders.
